Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, also known as Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American actress, singer impersonator comic and radio show host. She is known also as the daughter of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and also as the daughter of comic Raul Vale. She was credited with inventing La Balada Ranchera, a kind of genre in music that was a top chart hit in 1973. This caused Angelica Maria to become the first Latin artist to sell two millions of records in the United States. She was introduced to Venezuelan singer/comedian Raul Vale in the year 1974.
